Join Producers to
Help Local Food Pantries
By donating a portion of their 2009 harvest, more than a dozen local producers have joined in the effort to help restock the shelves of local food pantries through the Kane County Farm Bureau’s Harvest for ALL campaign.

The program was developed to encourage local farmers, members and consumers to provide relief to the hungry in Kane County. Farmers and non-farmers alike can join the effort. Click here for a printable particpation form or click on the "Harvest for All" tab above for more information.

KCFB's Summer
Ag Institute a Success!
Recently local teachers joined Ag Literacy Coordinator Suzi Myers for an agricultural tour around Kane County. Sites and stops included Kuipers Family Farm, Engel's Dairy Farm, Inboden's Meat Market and many more! These sites and presenters are a great way to teach our educators about agriculture and how to incorporate ag in the classroom. Teachers continue to rate this class as "The best I've ever taken!"
